Who can get the $65 place

Funded places are for people who live in Queensland. We check your eligibility with you before you enrol. You'll usually need to:

  • Live permanently in Queensland
  • Be 15 or older and no longer at school
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, a permanent resident, or hold an eligible visa
  • Not have finished a Certificate III or higher in the last 10 years

No business qualification or coding background needed.

How online study works

  1. Open the unit in Ready LMS: readings, activities and short videos.
  2. Join the weekly live class to ask questions and work through examples. Helpful, not compulsory.
  3. Practise on realistic business, customer and digital tasks.
  4. Upload your assessment when you're ready.
  5. Get feedback from your trainer and improve your work if needed.

Rolling intakes, so you don't wait for a semester. Live classes aren't recorded; if you miss one, keep going with the LMS and message your trainer.

Questions

Is it really $65?

For eligible Queensland participants, yes: $65 is your student contribution and the rest is government funded. We check your eligibility before you enrol and confirm the fees in writing. If you're not eligible, we'll give you a written fee quote first.

I don't live in Queensland. Can I still study?

Yes. The course is 100% online, so you can study from anywhere in Australia, but the $65 funded place is only for eligible Queenslanders. Ask us for a written fee quote.

How long does it take?

You have up to 12 months to finish all 13 units. How fast you go depends on the time you can put in each week.

Do I need to know about AI or coding?

No. This is an entry level business qualification. The two AI units teach you to use AI tools at work and check what they produce. It isn't a coding course.

When are the live classes?

Weekly, online, with up to 25 learners. We confirm your class timetable at enrolment. Classes aren't compulsory, so you can still study if you miss one.

Is it nationally recognised?

Yes. BSB30120 Certificate III in Business is a nationally recognised qualification, delivered and issued by First Class Training Group Pty Ltd, RTO 40702.

Can my work experience count?

It might. Ask us about Recognition of Prior Learning or credit transfer. You'll need evidence, and it isn't automatic.

What happens after I send my details?

We'll call you within 24 hours to talk through your goals, check your funding eligibility and answer your questions. Then we help you apply, set up your USI and get started at the next intake.

Ready to check your $65 place?

Answer three quick questions and we'll call you within 24 hours. Prefer to talk now? Call us Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
